The 35th edition of the New England Interscholastic Indoor Track and Field Championships is has been slightly delayed due into a predicted overnight storm and is slated for a 12:00am start on Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center in Boston. Many of region’s best athletes will use it as preparation for the indoor nationals next week while for others it’s their last meet of the season. Top athletes from the region qualified from their state to compete in the meet presented by the Council of New England Secondary School Principals’ Association.
State Running Network Coverage
Bay State Running, Ocean State Running, New Hampshire T&F and MySportsResults return to provide complete coverage, including a live stream of the meet from start to finish with cameras at multiple locations to ensure we get the optimal coverage of all the events. We will also be providing play-by-play commentary by a host of knowledgeable individuals, including MRS’s Marty Ogden. As usual, this service will not require a subscription.

- Hurdles – Trials (Girls before boys-top 8 fastest times advance to Finals)
- Dash – Trials (Girls before boys-top 8 fastest times advance to Finals)
- Hurdles – Final (Girls before boys)
- Dash – Final (Girls before boys)
12:30 PM
- Long Jump and Shot Put – Boys, followed by Girls
- (Top 9 performances from Trials to Finals)
- High Jump – 30 minutes after infield is done
- (2 pits –Opening Heights: Boys, 6’01” – Girls, 5’01”)
1:00 PM
- 4x800m meter Relay – Sections
- 4×200 meter Relay – Sections
- 1 Mile – Sections
- 1,000 meter – Sections
- 600 meter – Sections
- Jim Kalperis 300 meter – Sections
- 2 Mile – Sections
- 4×400 meter Relay – Sections
All the above events will be run as finals. Fastest sections will run last.
Awards
Special New England Champion plaques will be presented to the first-place winners of each event, including relays. Athletes/relays placing 2nd through 6th in their events will receive medals.
